Jackie, our Senior Stylist and Cutting Specialist, works specifically with clients managing thinning hair and alopecia, cutting and coloring each piece to match your own hair rather than fitting you to a stock piece. What to Expect at a Fitting

Toppers come in different base materials and attachment styles, from lightweight mesh bases for everyday wear to more durable bases for clients who want maximum security. Which one fits depends on your scalp, your coverage area, and how you plan to wear it day to day. We walk through the options at your consultation rather than starting from a single default, because the right base for one client's scalp and hair type is often wrong for another's.

Once a piece is selected, it's custom colored to your natural shade, including your gray pattern if you have one, and cut to blend with your own hairline. The fitting itself focuses on security and comfort as much as appearance, since a topper you're not confident wearing all day isn't solving the problem it's meant to solve.

Can a topper be worn every day?

Yes, when it's properly fitted and secured. We walk you through daily care, attachment, and how to style it at home before you leave your fitting.

Is this only for hair loss, or can it be used for style too, and how do I care for it at home?

Both. While most clients come to us for thinning or hair loss coverage, toppers are also used for extra volume or length in a specific area without committing to a full extension service. We send you home with washing, drying, and storage instructions specific to your piece, since care varies by base material, and most clients wash it less often than they wash their own hair.
